Sarah M. Wells is the author of a novella-length essay, The Valley of Achor, available on Kindle, a collection of poems, Pruning Burning Bushes (Wipf and Stock Publishers, 2012), and a chapbook of poems, Acquiesce, winner of the 2008 Starting Gate Award (Finishing Line Press, 2009). Poems and essays by Wells have appeared in Ascent, Brevity, The Butter, Chautauqua, The Common, The Cresset, Full Grown People, The Pinch, River Teeth, Rock & Sling and elsewhere.

Sarah's work has been honored with three Pushcart Prize nominations. Her essays have been listed as Notable Essays in The Best American Essays 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.

She recently completed a memoir/essay collection about love and attention, marriage, parenting, and desire titled American Honey.

Sarah serves as the Managing Editor for the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and as Associate Editor for River Teeth: A Journal of Nonfiction Narrative. She blogs regularly for Our Daily Bread Ministries's website, Off the Page. She resides in Copley, Ohio with her husband, Brandon, and their three young children, Lydia, Elvis, and Henry.
